Near the banks of the Rio Grande, beneath the bright New Mexico sky, Santo Domingo Pueblo sits between Albuquerque and Santa Fe in a landscape of bold color, open space, and unmistakable Southwestern character. It is here that Lupe creates each piece by hand, working with the color, shape, and character of every material. Turquoise, shell, coral, and heshi are selected, balanced, and arranged one piece at a time so the finished piece feels intentional—distinctive, wearable, and unmistakably his.
